Le Camping

We're off; train tomorrow leaves Reading West at 09:57. Me and my girls are going to Cornwall.

This time, of course, friends are driving all the awkward stuff down for us - so I won't have nearly as much large-but-light stuff tied to the outside of the rucksack, and the cartons of ricemilk won't explode (they never have yet but they MIGHT). Even the tent (only 10kg but awkward) is being couriered down by friends ith a 7-seater car and a caravan.

I can buy nappies when I get there, too, since there's a shop onsite and it's only a mile to the village.

And it's only a 3h30 train trip; I am given to understand that driving takes a little longer.

So this evening I will assemble a delicious, nutritious lunch for us, to be heated and stashed in the morning, and then have a deep, hot, luxurious bath, only slightly worried that I'll melt my implant.

In Jakers recently, they went fishing on - I kid you not - Lake Begorrah.

The campsite has electrical hookup. I may be able to charge my mobile. Luxury!

(It has hot water and a pool. I may have drinks with umbrellas in.)

Need oomph

I have posts to make about post-natal depression, the post-natal experience in general, the recently-suggested 200 quid for pregnant women who agree to speak to a dietician, the child trust fund money, mortgages, breastfeeding support groups, organic food cooperatives, and other stuff.

But no oomph.
