I'm surprised to see that, although they darkened last time, my nipples are darkening again this pregnancy. Somehow it never occurred to me that that would happen.

In other news, today we went to the Carter's Steam Fair to show Linnea the sights and delights. We went on the carousel first, then on the swinging boats, and then on the little steamtrain. I do like a steam-powered carousel, though I'm not convinced anything more than the organ is really. There's a lot of machinery on view.

It was very loud - too loud for Linnea, in particular. We must get her earmuffs for this kind of thing; anything where we have to shout to make ourselves heard causes her to put her hands over her ears for comfort unless she's too busy.

We finished off having chips, all three of us. There were a few other family groups there, mostly parents eating chips or burgers while their toddlers watched. Linnea would never allow that; she wants to be in on things.

After the funfair we went to fly a kite near the football pitches. It did get up off the ground but just as I was really getting the hang of flying a kite on a practically windless day the clouds exploded and about two thirds of the English Channel fell on us from on high. We wrapped up and sheltered near a clump of bushes until it passed and then headed for the playground for a while before going home.

And at home I broke out the Easter chocolate. Rob got me some Booja Booja hazelnut truffle things. They are...

... well, they're all gone, I can tell you that much. The rest is beyond language.
