(no subject)

Today we brought the kittens back to the vet for their 5-day checkup. They're fine; Dust managed to rip one of her three external stitches out, but the wound has held closed anyway and apparently the swelling around it was quite normal. She looks daft with a large white cone around her head - it's like living with Luxo Jr.

First thing this morning we went to the Farmer's Market, where I bought some gorgeous pottery, some plants that we are certain to kill stone dead in record time, some olives and some gooseberries. We were home again by 10:10, which is practically unheard of for a Saturday. Then off to the vet.

Then we did some housework; Rob vacuumed the living room and the kitchen, we did laundry, and ate toast. We also have strawberries which I will have to wash and refrigerate as soon as I finish this entry.
