Cervical Smear Test

I hates 'em, Baggins.

Mind you, this one was ok. The nurse was nice, the equipment wasn't cold, and it didn't hurt much. No more for 5 years. Hurrah!

Shopping and Christmasness

We spent the afternoon (after I'd recovered from my test and had tea and toast) in town, shopping. Rob bought me a Christmas present and we bought things like red satin ribbon and green and red cord and Christmas cards and selection boxes and oh, other similar stuffness.

Then Rob was hungry so we parted ways and agreed to meet up in an hour, which gave him time to buy me my present! While waiting for him I met an afper and spent a while chatting to him; he was Christmas shopping for his brother.

When Rob got back to me, mysterious bulges in his backpack, we bought a couple of folding tables. We've been meaning to get them from IKEA, but the one near Rob's parents is perpetually out of stock.
