I'm feeling attacked and whiny today, and it's not your fault. Between breastfeeding education and home educating and stay at home mothering and not driving a car and ethical consumerism and the whole huge rape and consent thing, not to mention trying to make decisions on choosing, revising and sending pomes to be published, I'm feeling stretched very thin. No-one has directly, indirectly, or inadvertently threatened me about the poetry yet, at least, and if I never send them to anyone, no-one can reject me, so that's ok.

Er, wait.

Perhaps I should go to bed.

I feel enormous admiration for you in regards to your home schooling. That is a huge responsibility, and I don't have enough faith in my abilities to do it for my son. I think it's wonderful that you do and I think your children are very lucky to have you as a mother.

I'd far rather you filtered certain people in the men-can-stop-rape threads off the internet entirely, really! Not being able to be sanguine about things one day doesn't mean I can't other days.

True. I know this phenomenon well, and actually, always avoid rape threads, because I am rarely able to cope.
