Got through it

I got through today. I wasn't sure I would, when it started, but I did. And I'll get through tomorrow too.

Emer gave herself a haircut; she looked really funny. I've tidied it up very very slightly and she no longer looks funny, just dreadful, but she is also not as annoyed by it, so that's something, I suppose. I don't think she'll do it again.

I keep thinking "Oh no, tomorrow is another day," which isn't what most people mean when they comment cheerily "Tomorrow is another day!" on Facebook etc.

But I am getting slightly more functional, and Rob is being awesome and dealing with as much of the squalor as he can so that I can function better tomorrow.

And with any luck, tonight I won't have Astrid AND Linnea AND me in my half of the bed. When you sad, you need you mama, yo, yo, yo, yo, as Emer once sang.
