Sleep experiment
Feb. 6th, 2011 04:47 pmToday we experimented with Rob staying in bed until 9am. He got up to get Emer breakfast then went back to bed. We were late for Meeting, but we are exactly the same amount late almost every other week and he gets an hour less sleep. So we'll work on streamlining the leaving-the-house process rather than on getting up earlier, I think.
Then we went out to lunch and then to the theatre with a friend. I missed most of the show, predictably, because Astrid wanted to chat.
She's crawling a lot. She can go from sitting to crawling and back again. Crawling to standing is harder because her feet slip out from under her and she needs something to hold onto. Give her time.
Now Astrid and I are home alone because the others have gone out to a Chinese New Year party. I'm too tired.
I'm having a nice restful evening watching Astrid try to climb the stairs. Oops.
