I have decided I am willing to sell three square oil paintings on deep-frame canvas, about 8" x 8" x 1.5". So far I have photos taken on my phone; each of these thumbnails links to a larger image, but they are phone-quality photos.

Edit 1h 20m later: Sold, pending payment, packing up, posting etc. I need to wrap them and take them to the post office and find out what postage is, then send people that info and work out how to take payment. Gosh.
01 Tree, pink sky, purply blue hill - £40 plus postage and packaging
This image doesn't show the way it goes around the corner, but this is an acrylic painting where the tree does a similar thing

02 Tiny house with secret neighbour - £40 plus postage and packaging
The next image in the series (this one is a link) shows the secret neighbour around the corner
03 Tree on a hill (with stealth sheep) - £40 plus postage and packaging

I am only listing pictures I am confident are "good enough to sell". If you liked something and I haven't listed it, let me know and I'll either give it a price or explain that the reality doesn't match up to the photograph, or take a better photo, or something.

If anyone has tips on how to make very sure that oils are dry enough to wrap and pack, that would be awesome. These seem dry to touch, but...

My MiL paints in oils. I can ask her about drying times and such if you want.

I really liked the sea and sky one at the top of your previous post. If you ever feel like selling a sea picture, I would be interested.

Anywhere you like! Box canvases are good for not having to put the signature in the picture, though.

From my experience with non-oil paints, I would suggest bubblewrap over tissue, with the flat side towards the paint and the bubble side out. Fragments of tissue will stick to mostly-dry paint, but plastic will peel off without damage or marks.

MiL, alas, is not very helpful...

"I don't know exactly how long it takes, I was never in a hurry. It depends how thick her paint is and what medium she uses to dilute. Touch-dry is not always reliable."

"My paintings could take a week to a month to dry and I don't paint very thickly. I use a medium that is quick drying. If she slaps the paint on with a palette knife it could take months to dry."

Sorry I couldn't get you more useful info.

Me too. Although I also would have bought number 3 but I wasn't quick enough off the mark.
