I seem to be on the way out of the pit. PMS has gone away again, so I'm left with only the s-word and anxiety, rather than those and the PMS stuff too, which is much easier to handle. My appetite is definitely coming back, and I've enjoyed meals a couple of times. The painting is INCREDIBLY awesome and so was going out of the house with Emer and Astrid and a friend today, though we didn't go anywhere exciting. Emer was full of joie de vivre and that's very catching, so I caught it a bit. (Odd to be delighted by how awesome the world is AND idly thinking other stuff too though).

Rob seems to actually like the paintings too, so that's a nice bonus. It will be easier for me to enjoy them if he's not indifferent.

I think they're lovely! You've completely re-arranged the dining room since we were last there, yes?

Going by the photo I saw earlier today, it's all upside-down now...

I'm always sort of comforted and reassured when I find dichotomies like that in my brain, because then I know the misery is chemical and I can safely do my best to ignore it.

I'm really glad you're doing better.

Phew indeed. I remember finding the delight in some things (work) and the utter misery in other things (rest of life) the hardest thing to understand over the summer when things got really bad. I've now also got a big sign up in big letters saying "Is it your hormones?" cos the worst thoughts now are when I'm perimenstrual. Keep painting!
