Pretty good Christmas

ailbheIt felt quiet; I was not very well, but we ate, opened a zillion presents, and Astrid learned to roll over both ways and is now working on crawling (she can go backwards quite well). Emer was so excited by giving Rob a gift that she quivered like a stringed instrument of some sort and leaped on him and hugged him a few times while he was opening it.
My mother was here and Rob's parents couldn't come on Boxing Day because of the snow and ice on the roads, though there isn't any here - they're hemmed in where they are, apparently.
I've dropped another jeans-size in the part fortnight; this can stop any time now, I think. I could handle being well and staying the same size for weeks at a time.
