Operation "Don't Lose My Temper" Is Go

We got the house in reasonable order, got to storytime at the library almost on time, got back without major events... the whole thing seems to be working. Also, they are much better about picking their junk up off the floor, and I am calmer about asking them to.

This is nothing short of astonishing.

I thought I'd lost the ability to do this - not sure why, because I had it before. I think I'm a little worried that not getting angry will mean I go back to turning anger inward and hurting myself, but I think that's just never going to happen again. What I'm doing this time is not GETTING angry in the first time, not misdirecting extant anger.

I must be getting kinder; Linnea asked me to read to her, which she only does when she wants to give me a big treat.

And they bought Claire Rayner's The Body book in the charity shop for 25p, which I'm delighted with. I've mainly had it recommended for the reproduction bit but the digestion section is excellent and the light and vision bit is very good too.

Sore when there's pressure on it. I haven't taken the plaster off to see if it's healing, in case it isn't.

I had The Body Book! It really is very good.
