Today I made a phonecall on a borrowed iPhone, because my own was dead of battery and I needed to let Rob know what I was doing with his three children, and then later had a go on Rob's Android. And in spite of the perennial Rob-demonstrating-tech thing of him wanting to show me how it worked by doing everything for me faster than I could follow (we sort of wrestled it from each other a couple of times and did NOT descend to a public row, in spite of both being exhausted and very very cold and tired and the tech thing being one of our Things, like how to stack the dishwasher (my way is just better, ok?) and how much laundry detergent to use) I think I could comfortably use it.
