Technically still morning?

Breakfast was wonderful; we had porridge made with a cupful of muesli and one of frozen raspberries, drizzled (well, sort of monsooned, really) with honey. Then we all had baths, me and Astrid first and the older two after, and I washed and conditioned their hair - their hair was filthy, not least because of the apricot jam with yesterday's lunch. I've also rinsed a load of dark laundry, ready to hand, and set the nappies on to wash, and as soon as the big girls get dressed we can go out, because Astrid and I are all dressed, nappy bag packed, etc. But perhaps they won't want to. I can always go tomorrow, as early as I like, because I'm alone in the house! at least, I hope I am, in theory they are going out for the day with Rob.

While I wait for them, I will drink coffee and watch Astrid sleep.
