Astrid had a BRILLIANT night. She hasn't had so much fun in AGES. For about two hours in the middle of the night, she was a STAR - she cooed, she babbled, she sang, she danced, she tried REALLY REAlLY HARD to remove her thumb (it's stuck on, it doesn't unscrew)...
So many of our plans went awry. But we had a friend visit in the morning, and managed lunch, and went out in the afternoon to visit a friend we've never visited before, and got home and had dinner, and got the children into their Girls' Brigade tops and out to GB, and home - where Rob had go thome from work and cleared the worst of the bombsite off the floors.
Yesterday someone came to visit us and Mary came by for a couple of hours and we met someone else in the community gardens.
Astrid is teething and learning to sit upright - she did it on the breakfast bar while we were out visiting - and in general not very happy, there's too much to do all at once.
But Rob has been getting more sleep, so he's looking after us beautifully, which includes chocolate cupcakes.
