Coffee Break

Done:

Cooked three people breakfast
Cleared table
Made three people lunch
Cleared table

Did some MEP worksheets with the children; they weren't very interested, but demonstrated a little knowledge, which is really why I do these things (they don't learn much FROM worksheets, mind you, just prove that they know stuff).

Showered myself and Astrid, hurrah! no more stinky baby neck creases!
Dressed myself
Cleaned the sink including the half-sink drainer basket thing
Washed the thermos mugs including disassembling the lid and washing all the rubber rings and things
Cleared the draining board
Emptied the dishwasher and started refilling it
Emptied the washing machine and ran a cleaning cycle on it (need to hang laundry)
Made coffee

... and as if on cue, Astrid woke up. Will drink coffee while I feed her.

5:20pm: Took Astrid for her vaccinations
Bought washing soda and white vinegar (easier to find in corner shops than in supermarkets, I wonder why?)
Posted a parcel
Bought water softener, dishwasher detergent, orange juice, etc
Put on load of red laundry
Hung laundry
Fed Astrid
Put dinner on - rice and a reheated lentil curry
Swept dining room floor

Yet to do:
- Clear front room floor; toddler this morning took out ALL the toys!
- Put away dry laundry (2 loads)
- Clear dining room floor
- Clear art materials off children's corner table
- Clear home ed materials off front room table
- Serve dinner
- Clear up after dinner
- Hang red laundry
- Wash nappies
- Melt into huge bubble of gooey squish at how gorgeous Linnea and Astrid or Emer and Astrid are; they love playing with each other and apparently baby-games are fascinating to the older children too
