Done/to do
Sep. 27th, 2010 11:23 pmDone (not necessarily in order):
- Emptied and refilled dishwasher (twice, once after dinner too).
- Hung laundry.
- Had someone come around for tea and biscuits.
- Got everyone dressed (Emer and I were dressed before visitors, but Linnea wasn't even UP)
- Brought sheets in off line and rehung indoors to finish drying (note: that washing line is seriously, seriously stretched; fix it, with children helping so they don't pull on hanging laundry again, drat them).
- Cooked, served and cleared away lunch
- Partially laid dinner table before going out for the afternoon
- Got the train to town (it's cheaper NOT to use the railcard)
- Bought Linnea's swimsuit, Emer's socks, and some kitchen things
- Walked to the swimming pool, did changing, drying etc for two lessons
- Came home in the rain, urgh
- Heated up dinner, ate it
- Cleared dining table
- Lucy did reading last week's Five in a Row book and the children did writing and kanji
- Videochat with Rob
- With Lucy, cleared the children's corner, partially tidied away and partially in heaps on the floor and the dining table
- Washed nappies
- Took down all the dry laundry, put away half of it
- Finished clearing the dining room table
- Finished clearing the dining room floor
- Took delivery of True Food shopping, put it away
- Took tomorrow's dinner out of the freezer to defrost
- Brushed children's teeth, did bedtime
- Fed Astrid many many times, changed nappies, changed her clothes
- Unpacked dirty nappies, restocked change kit for going out
- Did online banking
- Packed up Kim's parcel and stuck an address label on it
- Put the food waste in the landfill collection
- Wrote this list
- Edit to add: Hung clean wet nappies to dry, turned dishwasher and washing machine off at the wall due to influence of wattage-obsessed home ed mum of my acquaintance.
To do:
- Pack up photographs to send my family (Rob's family got theirs in mid-AUGUST)
- Go through paperwork and do at least some of it
- Wash tetrapaks for recycling
- Put away clean laundry for children, me, Rob, household
- Launder guest bedding
- Put guest duvet away - it's aired now, after all. No more excuses.
- Tidy my bedroom
- Photograph Astrid in the Moses basket; she's about to outgrow it, so now's the chance
- Clear the draining board (did it 4 times today, which really helped but I need to do it EVERY time the stuff on it is dry, even if I think I don't have time)
- Clear the kitchen counters
- Deal with food waste again - need to go through the fridge. And need to arrange to dig out the compost bin so we can go back to composting properly. And get more Green Cone Accelerator.
- Clear the homeschool table and the toy kitchen
- Clear the front room floor
