First day almost over

I didn't get as much as I hoped done but I got more than I expected. If I could just summon the energy to rehang all the laundry I rescued from the rain earlier I'd be doing ok. But we all got washed, dressed, and adequately fed, and the general clutter levels in the kitchen decreased rather than increased, and the laundry isn't as far from being done as it was.

I even managed a cup of tea, this afternoon. Took several goes and a few tipped down the sink for going cold, but I managed.

And Linnea and Emer have been fairly well-behaved, rather than deliberately difficult, which is a great help. I wasn't sure which way they'd fall.

I am so so so tired though. Blindingly tired.

I used to throw a lot of tea away for being cold when I was sysadminning. (Reliably, just as it got to drinking-temperature, someone would knock on my door with a Please Fix This Right Now problem.) Then I acquired a THERMOS MUG, and my life was no longer filled with sad lonely cold tea. These days mostly I don't need it, but I am hanging onto it for future cold-tea-inducing scenarios.

Glad to hear that Linnea and Emer are going for the well-behaved option!

My thermos mugs are ancient and impart flavour to tea. In a bad way. I shall order a new one immediately.

Glad things are going alright tiredness notwithstanding. I hope it soon gets easier and new routine settles.

I second the thermal mug idea obtaining. I must take mine to BiCon.
