Much, much more mucus. And the smell is changing. Hugely. It's much more... sour? acidic? Something like that. Wow, this is weird.

Also, the contractions have toned right down, as have the infant movements. Unless I move or bend or stand up.

Also, the new bump position means that the edge of the table doesn't hit the bump any more, the bump can sit on top of it if I'm standing. This makes serving the children's lunch much easier.

I had no early labour symptoms at all with Emer - none. With Linnea the fact that I was in pain that doctors said I was making up rather overwhelmed my noticing other symptoms.

I remember the contractions from that time, which is helpful now! This baby has been very like Linnea for weeks now, I expect it to be similar right up to birth. Emer was about 1500g smaller and quite a different antenatal personality - calmer, quieter, etc.

Fairly exhausting, but carrying a baby when I'm not terrified is much less tiring than otherwise!
