Mine often had more than one coat - cause they'd still wear the one they'd ostensibly grown out of. :}
And I just don't think in terms of summer coats - I probably should but you can take the girl out of California, etc - I figure "sumer" /= "coat". I've only lived here almost 30 years, after all :} /slow learners R us.
Ones whose parents aren't buying the coats? We are benefiting disproportionally from Charles being the First Grandchild and First Nibling. I will just have to make sure we pay it forward to our own niblings.
Yeah - we have multiple coats for the sizes where handmedowns featured nicely. Which Linnea has now almost totally outgrown.
To be honest, we haven't bought MOST of the children's clothes, over the years. Between gifts and handmedowns we've done quite well, once people got the idea that Linnea needed a size larger than her age, which took a very few months.
Would Linnea enjoy it? If so, then go for it - again, as others have said, providing it won't be the only coat she has. Of course if she likes it, it might end up being the only coat she will willingly wear ... ;-)
Linnea doesn't give a toss. We've tried looking at coats in shops and she's totally, wholly, and completely uninterested.
She has shown very little interest in clothing since we bought the tutu two years ago, in fact. If she cared one way or the other, I could use her opinion to inform mine.
Well, if she hasn't expressed an opinion then you aren't trampling on it. I think it's a lovely coat for a little girl - feminine without being Stereotypical Pink - and a good price.
I like it! I think it's totally cute, and not UBER GIRLY either. I love the color (or, in your parlance that would be 'colour' ;) and think it would look really nice on her.
I just put in an order in excess of 20 quid from that website.. lovely stuff, for nothing. And no, I didn't buy the coat, but I think you should if you like it. It's a steal!

I wouldn't consider it for a winter coat but I thought we might get away with it for summer.
