Too damn tired

Linnea woke everyone about 5 am and although both children got back to sleep, neither Rob nor I managed it. The children are too tired to go into town so I'm still at home. I'm going to get into action any minute now, honestly any minute.

Honest.

Oh, gods.

I've tried to call the dentist but the line is busy. I've had two lots of ibuprofen so far today. I need to get properly dressed and do laundry and tidy up and so on.

Help!

Out of interest, how many of you think Rob works in London? Actually he has a fifteen-minute cycle commute to a job very near home, because long commutes were detrimental to the long-term wellbeing of his relationship with his children. And me, mind you, but that was largely as a side-effect of the former.

Had I ever stopped to think about it, I would have concluded he works nearby. His being able to get to the house with keys within non-geological time argues strongly for "not London".

It never occurred to me that he might work in London, but I have to say I've never actually thought that closely about it!

I have vague memories that he changed jobs a few years ago, and one of the benefits of the new job was that it was very close to home.

I somehow thought that Rob worked in London, no idea why. I have no idea where you live though, so it has no relevance to anything.

I wish Andy worked a 15 mins cycle ride away, as it takes him 2 hours by train each way to commute to / from work.

I thought you lived way too far northwest for any reasonable person to even consider commuting to London from there. Like, Lancashire.
