1) Terrorism, just because. Affray, assault, GBH or or even murder if someone was as silly as to lay a hand on your loved ones.

2) How strong and amazing you are. How busy with social things. And all the pictures.

1) I wouldn't think you'd been arrested! I'd assume you had joined your local Council 'Police and Community Consultative Group' or something like that, and wonder how you find time to do all the things you do!

2) What has surprised me is the fact that I have always admired the way you have always seemed to be so confident and capable, and to achieve so much in your life, and yet you have sometimes shown in this journal insecurities of which I was not aware. I suppose that's because I didn't really know you that well when I met you in 'Real Life'.

If you'd been arrested, it would almost certainly have been for defending your children overenthusiastically.

I'm not sure what has surprised me - I don't surprise easily. I'm often impressed by your relentless goodheartedness, though.

1) Ha! Yes, the Police and Community Consultative Group thing would be plausible. Or that you'd seen somebody doing something bad to a child and were going along with the police to make sure they got it right.

2) How unbroken you are, considering. I've also been mildly surprised at how consistent your vision of your ideal life has been, for so long.

I have been giggling at that choice of words for some time.

(2) I didn't think my vision of my ideal life had been, but perhaps it has. Mothering was always a BIG BIG part of it, and hippieing also. The trike is a bonus :)
