Christmas Is Coming!

ailbheWe're planning on getting fat. Almost all the shopping is done, the nuclear family and Nana are all here, the tree is up and decorated, and the Christmas menu is planned.
I doubt we'll finish half of it, but that means no cooking next week.
Mulled rooibos tea
Carrot and coriander soup*
Roast turkey with sage and onion stuffing
served with bread sauce, gravy, and cranberry sauce
Roast potatoes
Carrot and parsnip mash
Brussels sprouts
Baby peas with garden mint
Winter fruit compôte
and
Christmas Pudding and Mince pies
served with non-dairy cream*
Tea, coffee, and traditional home-made pepparkakor*
