Big week ahead
Sep. 25th, 2011 11:09 pmRob's home after seven every day unless he's home after eight. Not one dinner with him until Saturday. Fifteen meals without him, in fact. Wish us luck.
He is cooking - I think he's almost finished - lots of meals for the freezer and the fridge, which is lovely. Emer and I chopped many of bowls of veg ready for him to use, earlier. And I've rearranged the freezer so it can take the stuff.
He has even prepped almost all of a quiche; I just need to buy eggs tomorrow.
We had a total of four visiting children today, and two grownups who hardly count because they are more likely to muck in than be treated like a visitor. We did three loads of laundry and two in the dishwasher, cooked lunch and dinner, and now Rob's cooking another three meals, I think. As well as that we went to Meeting and our friend's baby is doing much better and is out of hospital, which is a great relief.
Oh, and Rob built a cupboard in the back bedroom, so now we just need to sand and wash the walls ready to glue cork tiles on one and then paint everything! (Oh, is that all?)
