Viral load

I fell asleep on the dining room floor yesterday afternoon, and the children covered me with a blanket. Today I was so full of joie de vivre that I summoned Rob home from London. Astrid has a cold too, so presumably she and I are just going to get over this if I ever get enough sleep.

There isn't enough sleep in the universe though.

I would also like to catalogue the children's humorous and inventive misbehaviour but I'm too tired. Food, hammers and plasterwork, anyway.
