Yesterday I got us all up and out and we eventually got to the True Food Co-op's shop. We were back in town about 2h30 from leaving our house, so if I budget 3 hours per trip it should be fine. We met up with Becky of Eclectic Games and went to a stationer's where she bought me a present - some soft drawing pencils and a sketchpad (not the kind I'm hunting for, an ordinary one I'll use as a sketchpad and not as a journal).
She came home with us and shortly after she left, Lucy arrived, and we all had dinner and then Lucy and I painted - I did
and
, and Lucy did
. I had oils and she had watercolours.
Today I got up and did laundry and two loads in the dishwasher and tidied the kids' bedroom and then the rest of the house, and then we went out to storytime and returned a DVD and some books to the library, and then we came home with a friend and eventually they left, Rob came home, and I powernapped on the floor.
I'm incredibly tired. But the house is improving a little all the time, and it's probably at least partially hormonal.
Yesterday, Astrid definitely signed "milk," and today she made huge progress crawling.
