Moar Paint, Moar Paint

I got more paint today. And had another go at the watercolours.

I got a new box with a wooden palette in the lid and things, and now I just plain Do Not Want my old box of high-quality watercolours. I want half a dozen tubes each of watercolours and high-quality acrylics, to store in the box with some brushes and stuff, and I can use those for painting when I'm not at home. I'm probably also going to get a small amount of gouache, to try.

I'll need to try to sell more, I think. I'm hanging some in Eclectic Games soon, and I will honestly try to list at least one more on Etsy. I might try another tree, and another secret neighbour, because I have none of either left now.

What should I paint this evening? I have some new 16"x16" deep-edge canvases to play with.

Pthalo green (blue shade)

When I was thirteen, cher papa brought us to Portugal for a Sunshine Holiday. While there, many dreadful things happened, but also, we got a boat inside a cave and saw water a colour I remembered forever (well, 19 years).

I can get close to that colour with pthalo green (blue shade) and white and a little weeny but of French ultramarine and a tiny tiny bit of pink.

Acrylics

I'm not sure which, if any, of these I ought to list on Etsy.
