Slightly colder than my fridge, in fact.

I've put longjohns on for the first time this year (the cat hair where they were folded isn't visible through my jeans) and cleaned the front room enough to put the largest rag rug down, the red one originally bought for the dining room. The children spend much more time in the front room, and there's no food allowed in there, so it might stay clean this time. Cleanish, anyway.

I've also done yet more blimmin laundry. And played with Lego, and Emer helped me wash potatoes for lunch and we cooked porridge for breakfast and did dishes and so on. Domesticity.

I'm sitting down now, which makes reading the internet easier than when I do it running around. I think I need more coffee, less stomach upset, and to pack up the stuff we need to take to the market tonight - shopping gear, slinging gear, and fairy lights, and an extension lead so we can plug them in. I hope to leave here about 4 pm.

Today is meat day. Most of what we bring home will be frozen meat products. I look forward to it.

It's illegal to advertise formula breastmilk substitute for babies under 6 months old in the UK. So the formula companies made a new product called "follow-on milk" specially tailored for babies over six months old.

I spotted an advert in a magazine recently.

It read as follows:

You gave up your career
your social life
and your figure
Then came baby's first words
[HUGE IMAGE OF ADORABLE BABA]
Dada.

SMA Progress
We know

I was somewhat struck by this and am not sure to whom I should turn to express my inexpressible arghiness.
