My sister needs brand names for hypoallergenic baby-milk formulas available in Ireland. No dairy, no soy. She's confused because a lot of the brands she can get at her local chemists contain whey, and doesn't know whether that's cow's milk whey likely to cause an issue or not.
She will start by introducing the formula earlyish in the day so that if there IS a violent reaction at least it won't be at night, but she'd prefer to avoid a violent reaction.
This is not an appropriate place to discuss the failure of the law to protect her right to express her own (abundant) milk while at work. Though ways to deal with the engorgement she anticipates would be good - I know a bit about it but not tons.
