Slow, slower, slowest

I thought yesterday started slowly, but today was slower still - I had planned to be on the trike and heading to the vampire lab by 9:30. Instead we are all still here, staring despondently at the rain and whinging.

I did manage to get the children dressed, though, and myself showered and dressed, and everyone ate some breakfast.

I think it's too late now to go to the hospital; we have a play date this afternoon. I might turn my hand to housework instead, the rock'n'roll glamour of my life, because the children are vile and foul and really, really need to veg out in front of the telly until they feel more sociable.

I had nightmares. I have reason to believe that Linnea had bad dreams. Emer didn't sleep well either. And today the weather is horrible. I wonder was it air pressure, or an excess of excitement?
