Gentle Parenting

Perhaps I shouldn't read the internet when it's hot, but today I read something which said "and other Gentle Parenting techniques such as cloth diapering, home education, child-led weaning, etc."

And you know, those are all things I do, and today, I am so. Not. A gentle parent. Today I am a cranky ratbag, so take that, Gentle Parenting Advocate, and stuff it in yer cakehole. Maybe it'll shut you up.

Gentle Parenting. Way to make everyone feel slightly inadequate, yo.

(Also, it's too hot.)

Swimming Lessons

Yesterday morning we all went swimming and Rob took Emer to the toddler pool while I swam with Linnea. "You're my wife," she said. "Come on wife, go this way!"

Laundry, cleaning, and hopefully painting the blasted bedroom wall
