BT reprieve, universe still hates us
Nov. 20th, 2007 06:03 pmWe now have ADSL but still no voice calls. We all came down with Linnea's bug. Emer vomited at least hourly for over 24 hours. Rob fainted twice, once very dramatically in front of both children like a falling tree crashing into my knitting bag (did not impale himself on bamboo spikes but really it wouldn't have surprised me). His mother is here doing laundry - actually, she's taken the now almost totally recovered Linnea to the laundrette to dry it there. EVERYTHING is covered in regurgitated milk.
So I made it to 4 months, 3 weeks and 6 days without being ill, and then had a chest infection, laryngitis, and now this vomiting bug. The chest infection started about 2 November, and I think I will be almost better tomorrow, so that's 18 days of continuous illness.
There has to be an easier way.
Still, no doubt I can learn to like dry white toast, in time.
