We're off to the land of heated outdoor swimming pools tomorrow, returning to reclaim our consciences in a week. We have a ton of luggage, because we're bringing a lot of food this time, and Rob's bringing his own bike instead of hiring one.
But we're really looking forward to it.
One of the sweetest things Emer does is ask to be picked up, sit up facing me in her arms, then rest her head on my shoulder, facing outwards, and relax.
She actually asks to be picked up just for a cuddle.
My daughters are two such very, very different people.
(Also, Linnea is the champion door-holder-opener and comforter of crying children in public places).
