Suits and sickness and sleeping and sales

Yesterday after all the drama, we went into town and had a wander around, buying Christmas gifts and showing Linnea the decorations in the shops (she knows the word "bauble" now - "bawboo! bawboo NEA!") and we got her some new gloves (she now has one and a half pairs) and knee-socks (better than tights or ankle socks, but not available in as many colours), and eventually popped in to Moss Bros to look at suits for Rob. They had a sale on and he tried on a few jackets from the cheapest sale rack, mix and match any jacket and trousers for 99 quid.
The saleswoman insisted he looked fine, and I complained about the cut of the sleeves - there was a bunching and wrinkling on the upper arms when his arms were slack by his sides which I found unpleasant. She swore up and down it was normal and all suits looked like that. I agreed that many men wore suits that didn't fit. Rob sort of stood around quietly agreeing with me.
Eventually I said we'd go to John Lewis and see what they had. So a salesman came up and said he'd find Rob a suit that fit roght now today. And he went to the designer racks and Rob tried on a Pierre Cardin jacket and it was awful, much worse than the cheapo one.
Then he tried on an Yves Saint Laurent one.
Anybody telling me how unethical Yves Saint Laurent is will be ignored. He looked stunning. He thought he looedk stunning. I thought he looked stunning. The jacket fit. The trousers fit. The suit fit. He looked gorgeous.
We bought it.
Sickness
This house has A Cold. Linnea and I have a sinus cold and Rob has one in his throat. Mine is actually mostly in my head and ears and Linnea's in her nose, really. So today Linnea and I sat in pyjamas with the heating up to max and ate ginger and drank lemony drinks and did nothing much. She had a long, long nap, in the middle of which we had a power cut. I bumbled around needing a nap but feeling too icky to sleep.
Sleeping
Linnea has been waking in the night a lot, because her nose is blocked. So she comes in with me and Rob goes to her bed. That way at least one person gets an almost unbroken night, which helps. I wish I could keep her nose clear overnight. Last night and the night before she woke hourly, and needed to feed to clear her nose.
Sales
I've sold another book of the poems. I am amazed with myself. I also need to find out what happened to the five I ordered ages ago which haven't arrived. How do I find out if Customs are holding something for me?
