Well, Linnea demanded the potty halfway through a nappy change yesterday, and sat on it happily for *ages*. And today she brought Rob her potty book after she'd wet her nappy and was very enthusiastic when he offered her the potty. She certainly seems to like sitting on it. There have been no more nappy-removals and no more puddles, though, so we're not sure what is going on.

Her nappy was dry this morning, in spite of prolonged nursing through the night.

And as for me - I'm still queasy and light-headed and tired, but functional. I'm hoping to leave the house as I know from experience that a walk to town will do more good than harm, but even my baggy purple dungarees with the batik pattern aren't motivating me quite enough. Perhaps a list of enjoyable errands will.

Still no book. Despatched by US regular postal service on 16 September. I know I got a faster delivery from Elise's beads - less than 7 days, once.

I called the central heating people to say I had a couple of questions about the quote and would like to schedule a date for installation. I hope it's at a time when I can go to visit friends.

ailbhe: (before baby walks)

Someone has received a copy of before baby walks, the first printed collection of some of my poems, and says that it's "lovely and delightful!" so I am now offering it for sale to anyone who would like a copy. The first reader pointed out a typo, which has been fixed, and some issues with the cover, which haven't, because I can't work out how.

I still haven't received a copy myself, but I trust the judgement of the person who has. And I'm dead jealous, of course. And excited beyond belief.

I hope everyone else who has already ordered copies likes them, typo and all. Thanks, folks.
