What we did today, by Linnea's Mum
Aug. 16th, 2005 07:15 pmWe sat and listened to the summer And watched for airplanes high My baby found a ladybird And a "birdie" butterfly. A hand of blackberries I picked, She fed me, one by one, And we sat upon the grass and smelled The rising of the sun. We hung the laundry out to dry And ran around in capes Of underwear and flannel wipes And sheets and tow'ls and drapes. We climbed the chairs and down again, We gathered tiny stones And when we found love on the ground We took it with us home.
