Why I love my job

Today my charge went swimming, enthusiastically; ran all around the changing rooms, and didn't fall down; climbed stairs and was caught; said "cat" multiple times; danced a wiggly-bottom dance to Dolly Parton; feel asleep eating bread and raisins; almost climbed out of the bath; played with our neighbour's tupperware and an onion.

And she asked me for a hug several times from sheer glee. Her enthusiasm for being alive is inspiring.
