Ways I know I've married the right person

• When I cough my lungs up, he doesn't run away screaming "Ewww! Gross!" (which it is, trust me) but instead hands me tissues.
• He brings me lunch when I can't walk.
• He goes downstairs ahead of me when I'm dizzy, so that I can fall on something soft.
• He holds my glass of water for me when my hands seize up.
• When I need a hug, he acts like I'm conferring a privilege on him.
• He thinks that attractiveness is a fundamental part of who I am, regardless of what I happen to look like at the time.
• He lets me read books first because I read faster.
• He stops me when I start to work too hard or otherwise exhaust myself.
• He laughs at me in a nice way.

And this is just in the past 24 hours. I suppose I shouldn't start wishing he'd be struck blind like Mr Rochester or something, so's I could return some of the favour... Maybe he's got a dragon I can slay.
