What Katy Did
Feb. 3rd, 2004 03:20 pmDone:
- Organised delivery of gas heater part for tomorrow
- Picked up forms from the Post Office so that Rob has to apply for his provisional driving license
- Brought Mike out to lunch (and discovered that we had a conversation on Friday which I was too tired to remember)
- Attended aquanatal class, where the instructor likened us to swans, serene above water and paddling frantically underneath. I still think we look more like brontosauruses. The baby woke up, too; the frog-kick for breast-stroke is a lot harder when someone is kicking your bladder repeatedly.
- Went to Council offices to ask for a new recycling bin; the one we have is too small. Soon they will send us a big red wheelie bin for our recycling, though they can't give us a smaller bin for our regular waste. I noticed also that next door have started using their recycling bin; hurrah! They used to not bother.
To do:
- Assemble ID and lists for will-making appointment
- Call the vet to make appointments for all three cats
- Find new flea collars for cats
- Buy a mattress for the Moses basket
- Buy a spray bottle for cleaning with (like the ones people use for pot plants or ironing; the one I had broke yesterday when I dropped it)
Plans for this week:
- Tuesday: Darrell and Becky come over in the evening
- Wednesday: Dancing in the evening
- Thursday: Meet Rob from the train station and go to the library
- Friday: Solicitor appointment at 14:30
- Saturday: Possibly James comes over
- Sunday: Hopefully buy timber at Wickes for the shelving units in the library
