So. Tuesday, we went to the hospital with Mormor and Rune, and then Rob and I went to meet Linnea in Visby, and there was a series of peculiarities with Rob's mobile phone. He tried to send text messages and his phone sent copies at random to people other than the intended recipient.

On Wednesday we went toboganning, but I got seasick and we had to stop. On Thursday we went to Rune's in the evening and stayed for hours, talking about family and religion and other lightweight topics. And on Friday, Birgit and Martin drove from the other end of the island and we all had dinner. Mormor baked a torte. Birgit brought meat pie, containing meat, meat, meat, meat, meat, meat and onions; Linnea brought spinach, broccoli and tofu pie, which I particularly liked.

On Saturday morning we woke early, so that we could get all the bedding laundered before it was time to leave for the plane. We managed that, and to set up Mormor's new hearing induction loop cushion in the sitting room, and finished the packing, and played cards. We had just cleared up after breakfast when Tommy and Lena walked in. So we saw all the aunts and uncles this trip, which was lovely.

I was horribly unwell on the flight home, especially when we were landing. As soon as the place stopped taxiing and the seatbelt-light went on, I dashed to the loo and got the stewardess to unlock it; when we got off the plane we went from loo to loo until passport control, and then spent two hours sitting in a cafe right next to another loo until I felt well enough to get on the bus home. It was quite scary. Luckily, the baby started to kick nicely about 10pm so I knew I wasn't in serious trouble; I was afraid all the abdominal cramping and loss of fluid wouldn't be good for it.
