Recent events: catching up
Mar. 17th, 2003 06:58 pmOn Wed 12 March I got a train at 6am to an all-day meeting in Cardiff, for work. On Thursday and Friday I went to work in spite of being ill. On Satruday I went to a 9am driving lesson and then in the evening we went to Dave's for dinner to celebrate his birthday. On Sunday we wandered around a park in London and I did a little study and we had tea and dropped in to speak to Janice on the way home.
Today I stayed home from work; I'm a little concerned about these headaches and the dizzy spells. I know that they are just from stress, I just wish my body would stop thinking of new and inventive ways to make me aware I'm stressed.
I emailed my tutor to get permission to postpone my assignment; I can't get it done in time to post tomorrow.
Today we took delivery of a new bed, to replace the one we dismantled at the weekend. We have't slept in it for over a week (we slept on the sofabed downstairs!), as I found it horribly painful to sleep in - too soft, and caused my stomach to loathe me. The new one has an orthopaedic mattress and is long enough for Rob's toes and head to be in bed at the same time. It also has none of thse nasty drawers underneath, so I can clean under it without having to move it. Good for a dust allergy.
