The Job Hunt: Another Interview

I had another interview with the shiftwork place today; it went well, and at the end of it the interviewer said I'd hear from them before the end of the week and yes, they were likely to offer me the job.

So when I got home I left a message at the place that interviewed me on Friday; that's the one I want most of all, so I hope they get back to me soon.

I'm sitting by the phone praying at this stage. Wish I knew what I was praying to.

I got the job!

They phoned me just before 5 pm and said I had it. At Wed, 6 Mar 2002 17:37:15 +0000 (GMT), I received email confirmation. I got it, I got it I got it I got it I got it.

I've told everyone on IRC and am about to start phoning people.

Omigod I got it.

I start on Monday; 2 days' training in Cardiff.

All about my new job

It's for Utility Partnership Ltd, my job title is Project Coordinator, and I expect to love it. The local office is 20 minutes' walk away from my house.

I just had a big party on AOL IM and drank champagne bought for me by Rob and got a load of congratulations posts on Usenet and a few emails and I feel clever and pretty and loved.

I told my mum and two of my sisters and they were all really pleased too :-)
