Oh, sunshine!

Now if only I could get the house desqualidified enough to get out in it. I have hung two loads of laundry so far so that's something. And everyone is dressed. But I'm all stuffed up again. I really do think I might have hayfever; I'm going to go find the baby antihistamine (the adult antihistamine is a lactose pill, dammit).

I need to get out to the post office later; I have an Ebay thing to post, one to weigh so I can charge postage, and a wedding present for my sister.

"desqualidified"

Excellent word, that. Took me a minute to parse, but excellent word.

I agree, a wonderful word!
Thank you for the d'oh moment abut the antihistamine; I hadn't thought to check, and have been taking the damn things almost daily. Migraine, anyone?

Stupid question - where do you get the lactoseless antihistamine? Is it a standard thing, or will I need to hunt around for some?

(A colleage mentioned in passing today that her hayfever went away in tandem with her stopping drinking milk, and I thought, aha, I may try this...)

For some reason, I read "desqualidified" as something to do with squid, and wondered why your house was full of squid.
