We enforced bedtime for Emer tonight. It's time. She's about ready for the slow transition, we're about ready for the extra work. We're not willing to do the scream-herself-sick method, so it will take a little longer, but that's ok.

She actually seems to need 10-11 hours a night, I think.

Gosh! Good luck. What time are you going for?

Same as Linnea. It more or less worked tonight; yesterday we had to barricade the door, pick her up and return her to bed a lot, etc. If we're right and she's ready for this, it should happen fairly quickly. But it might mean I spend 20 minutes upstairs every evening finishing bedtime off for a while, rather than Rob doing it all. That's ok by both of us though.

Mine need 10 - 11 hours. Bedtime is earlier in the week though, to allow for school run.
