Project Sleep

I must make more effort to get up and go to bed at 11pm. This morning I'm ratty, the kids are ratty, the house is manky, I have to get more sleep or I will go spare.

If I start going to bed at 11 pm perhaps I will get there about midnight after I do the evening pottering about.

I've found that 'going to bed' has to start for me at 10pm for me to be asleep by midnight at least most days; I get sidetracked. I also have a lot of trouble actually switching off the computer and putting it away on time.

Which is why I now have an alarm at 9:45pm to get me mentally ready for switching off the computer at 10pm so that I will be *in* bed at a reasonable time. My resistance to going to bed on time is deeply entrenched. Even after a year of a 10pm bedtime.

It does really help to have an alarm go off though.
