Food

The children like to ask for muesli for breakfast, and then leave it sitting in the bowl. They do agree to eat it if spoonfed. I think part of the problem is that unless I pour the milk, the cereal swims around and is too difficult to spoon up.

For lunch today we have beans, scrambled eggs, peas, and noodles; most of it's going in the flask but we can heat up the noodles when we get to ERAPA. I've been looking forward to hot lunches again.

Dinner tonight is shepherd's pie. And we have lots of fresh crusty white bread.

It's amazing what three minutes or so in the microwave will do for the tractability of muesli. :-)))

I always eat my muesli with yoghurt (in my case Rachel's fat-free) rather than milk. Certainly sticks it all together.
