A Perfect Day
I got cards, gifts, and guests. I made bunnies (I love bunnies!) and ate jelly. People came and were friendly and nice to me starting from about 3 pm and the last one left at about 8:15 (we will pay closer attention to trains next time!)
Linnea is very excited by all the people and is still winding down from her day, but has a new word of command: Sing! the S isn't always clear but it's identifiable. She can less clearly request specific songs - "dhar" is "Twinkle, twinkle," and "Baa baa" is obvious and there's a syllable-pair I recognise which isn't yet a word for spider for "Itsy bitsy spider".
She did a nice somersault off the sofa and landed at a funny angle, which is always scary, because I'm afraid to touch her until she moves of her own accord when she lands funny head-first.
I also started a livejournal home education community. I'm not sure why. It will save me having to decide which ones to join, anyway.
