I usually just delete it, but this made me laugh.

It was rather cleverly done -- not just a link. And it was relevant and at least tried to sound a bit like viral marketing/an honest endorsement by a satisfied customer.

All credit to them for actually being topical lol

Not only topical, but even, theoretically, potentially USEFUL. It's almost to the point of "useful advertising."

The sight of her hand and arm brought tears to my eyes because I knew that if she had had Baker's Venom Cleanser Bee Sting Cure

Genius, in it's own way. Overly emotive... and of course designed to play on your 'parental vulnerabilities' or some such other buzzword for the fact that you care about your children.

Personally, I find unsolicited advertising disguised as comments to be really annoying and somehow morally suspect. But this one made me laugh out loud.

Never saw it, but have just googled, and it sounds brilliantly laughable. It is akin to the shameless product placement that they depict in The Truman Show?

^^ this. I wondered why you'd left it there. I can't stand advertising/sales pitches that prey on someone's fears - being a parent with a [hurt] child is bad enough[1].

I wasn't sure whether to laugh - I *almost* thought it was a spoof, and then not...

[1] I have issues with nappy rash to deal with- I'm told that it is not something to beat myself up about, but still... a miracle cure is something I'd consider.
