Horrible horrible day

Emer kept us both up all night. No, not Emer, Astrid. The little one. Whatsername. Very cute, played peekaboo and bounced and giggled and climbed on us. All bloody night. Augh.

Rob overslept. I overslept. I had those dreams where you get up and do things and then wake up and realise it's been a dream so you get up and do things and then wake up and realise it's been a dream and...

When I eventually got up it was so horrible I went back to bed and started again, this time with a cheerful giggling Astrid and good-humoured older children.

We had a very late breakfast and still haven't had lunch. But everyone except Linnea is dressed and I've cleaned up the mess of teabags from making treasure maps and I've had a cup of tea.

I might have another.

Oh, I HATE that :( Once I woke up over 20 times before I actually woke up in my own bed in real life.

I once had the opposite thing happen. I was really, really tired. And I had to get up in, like, three hours. So I figured I just had to double or triple my sleeping time, by sleeping two or three times at once. So I went to sleep, then, in my dream, went to sleep, then, in THAT dream, went to sleep, so that I could sleep three times as much in the same amount of time.

Three hours later, I woke up, feeling like I'd had a solid nine hours of sleep. Never managed the trick again, however.
