ailbhe: (linnea at the clochán)

So that's what fatigue is

Running around searching for Linnea today was fine. I had a long nap afterwards. Then I sat around, then I had a doze. Now I'm absolutely knackered and my legs are still shaking intermittently.

I think I did the whole thing on adrenaline. The shaking afterwards was pretty serious; it's more trembling now.

I never want to feel like that again.

Indeed. I am glad you rested and hope you can continue to rest as much as possible as it may knock you back a few days in recovery terms. Adrenaline is powerful stuff.

Here's to hoping you don't feel like that again too.

That's very familiar. I am sorry. I don't want it to be familiar. On the other hand, you don't mention aching bones and muscles, which is great.

Usually it does get better, but that sort of reaction is why rest is so important right now. I am greatly encouraged that generally you're doing so well. Take it easier than ever for a few days. *hugs*.

*huggg* - hope & trust you're feeling fully ok now

have you tried explaining to her that playing hide-and-seek without telling [the] mummy/mommy/mammy first scares - hurts - you?

it may take a couple of explanations-whilst-hugging-the-re-found-linnea, but the concerned & clever 'nea you've described cares for you, so it should work - especially if "proper" games of hide-and-seek happen reasonably often, and end in ticklings and happy [instead of scare-relieved] *hugs* - and rewarded with praise for play-hiding well, and with invitations to hide & be searched for again... :-)
