Talking of slings, I was going to ask if you'd tried a coorie? Mine comes from brightsparks.com & is fabulously comfy. I used it with Holls from her being a few weeks old & still use it regularly in the hip carry. You are welcome to borrow mine as I do have 3 slings / carriers, but it will probably be too big as I have a medium. The website tells you how to measure yourself for which size is best. It's my favourite sling ever & I keep it in the buggy as I use it as a blanket when Holls naps.
